In celebration of one year of existence, Concrete Cut is releasing a free EP, out on 24 June 2011, HDD: The Remixes is a 6-track EP representing our past, present, and future.
Taking the very first Concrete Cut release, Liquid Molly’s futuristic dubstep track “HDD”, six Concrete Cut artists have re-imagined the roots of the label into a vision of what’s to come in Poland’s 2011/2012 musical season.
Remixers Sentel, ptr1, Shoju, and Rhythm Baboon all released material during the first year of our existence. Teielte is frequent collaborator and Deam will be releasing his debut EP on Concrete Cut soon.
During our one year of existence, our roster of exclusively Polish artists has helped put the country on the map in 2010/2011 as a force to be reckoned with on the international music scene of emerging electronic and club music sounds. Our releases have been supported by influential DJs across the globe including frequent appearances on the Rinse FM airwaves. Concrete Cut’s releases have featured throughout print and online media from Canada (Textura) to Australia (Cyclic Defrost) as well as Sonic Router, Resident Advisor, Little White Earbuds, and XLR8R online.
